You know me, I love a good make-up haul and when buying some essentials I always end up adding in a few new extra bits. Although it's a small one, some of these bits are so beautiful that I needed to share them with you.

The first thing I got was another bottle of Ruth Crilly's dry shampoo in the scent New York. I use a lot of dry shampoo because I am quite bad at timing my hair washes and this one is my favourite dry shampoo to use. 

I needed a new liquid eyeliner and L'oreal appear to have discontinued the one that I have used for years and years and I didn't know which one to try. I decided Make-Up Revolution was a safe bet because they've never let me down with any other product that I've tried. Obviously when paying a postage fee, you can't just buy one thing? (Please say I'm not the only person who does this???) I decided to get the rose gold foil eyeshadow because it's something I've been after for a while now and it's always out of stock so I grabbed it while it was there. I also picked up one of their one pound blushers because I always lose blushers and for a pound you can't go wrong.

I bought one of the 'new' Tanya Burr lip gloss shades because I love her lip glosses. Not just because they're made by her but they really are pigmented, smell nice and long lasting. I always rant and rave about them so I'm sure by now you've all grasped how amazing I think they are. I picked the shade Finding Nemo because it's a really pretty coral colour perfect for Summer. It reminds me of Nars Orgasm in lip gloss form because it's a pinky coral with the same flecks of gold through it.

January Non-Beauty Favourites

These are probably my most favourite type of posts to read because I love finding new foods to try out, new books to read or tv series to watch and I'm quite a nosey person so I find them really interesting.

I don't always have enough non-beauty favourites to do a post every month but I definitely have enough non-beauty favourites from January to do a whole post dedicated to them, yay.

My biggest non-beauty favourite of January has got to be without a doubt Netflix, more specifically Pretty Little Liars. How have I never seen this series before?! I'm currently on Season 4 and I'm so hooked, I would have finished it by now but I have to wait till me and Gary both have free time to watch it because I'm not allowed to watch it without him. How lucky am I that my boyfriend not only watches Pretty Little Liars but actually enjoys watching it?! He actually woke me up the other day to ask if we could watch it hahaha. I love watching it and am dreading when I actually catch up with everyone and have to wait to watch it! I have got every single one of my friends who didn't already watch this hooked on it so definitely a good one to watch. How stunning is Aria by the way?! New girl crush!

 I have been loving my tan Chelsea boots from Clarks, they are my work shoes but I wear them out of work too because I love them so much. I think a lot of you must agree since I did a whole post dedicated to my Winter boots and it is my most popular post by far! I'm going to be really sad when the weather gets warmer and I can't really wear these anymore.

I think I lied before when I said Pretty Little Liars was my biggest favourite, I think that award definitely has to go to my Macbook Pro. I have wanted one of these for years now and my old laptop was slow, buggy and on its last legs so although I was meant to be saving I splashed out and got it. It may seem an extravagant purpose but its made a massive difference in that I can take it to uni, import blog photos easier, have the integration between my iPad and iPhone and the whole laptop is seamlessly designed. If anybody is sat on the fence (like I was) about whether they're worth the money or are you paying for just the brand name - no, no you're not they are really, really worth it! It may not have the highest processors or technical things but nothing that you would notice unless you're a hardcore gamer. I did nearly cry paying that much money for something at once but it was worth it, no regrets!

Pug slippers, these are the comfiest things possibly ever. I have hundreds of these little slipper Primark socks and all are equally as comfy but the newer they are then the comfier they feel and these are so cute! I'm not big on pugs but they're cute anyway.

I've also been loving my Pandora rings, I haven't had them off since I got them because I think they look amazing with everything. I'm trying my very best to take care of them because I'm a nightmare for losing rings and earrings. I think my favourite is the Romance ring because its so small and delicate and looks lovely by itself or layered with the heart ring on top.

This is a bit of a random one but I am a complete lounger, and by that I mean I'm at my happiest sat in front of Netflix in sleepwear. I wear more pyjamas than I do clothes and I have fallen in love with this snuggle jumper from Next, if you follow me on instagram then you've probably seen me wear this a lot! Talking about pyjamas I read on the Daily Mail that on average most people change their pyjamas every week-2 weeks?! Is that right? I can't be the only one who changes mine every night/two days?? It's so snuggly and warm and its really big with pockets and a zip that can cover your mouth so you could zip it all the way up to your nose if you really wanted too. It even has the cutest label on the inside (which completely sums me up) "today I chose to hibernate".

I know this only came out at the end of January but I got it early and had already finished it before the end of the month. I love this book, the layout of it, the information in it and the pictures are all simply stunning. Although Tanya has released she had a ghost writer for this because it is still about her and has lots of helpful tips that are beauty/fashion/skincare related and clearly not just the opinions of a ghost writer I don't mind. Plus I remember Tanya saying in a video a while ago that she was going to have somebody helping her with her book because of course she is not a writer. I would 100% recommend this book if you're interested in Tanya and her life or if you just want some interesting fashion and beauty tips! However, it does seem that every big Youtuber seems to automatically think they're an author these days.. I can't help but feel that both Penguin and Gleam should have spread out the announcements/releases a bit more to stop it being so blatantly obvious. 

I have been loving this Cinnamon jewel candle that my friend Daisy sent me after I won her giveaway. This candle smells incredible and as you can see I've been burning rather a lot of it. I will do a full review post on this soon so you can see what ring I got inside!

Obviously as soon as I got this baby I knew it would be in my favourites, how beautiful is it?? I love having a purse that matches my bag and its handy for keeping all my change organised because I always used to stuff it in my bag loose then lose it because my purse wasn't very pretty but not anymore.

Coursework Reward Treats || Big Beauty Haul

Every year, at around this time of year I always end up going on a massive spending spree. I have a really hard, stressful time at university during October/November with coursework and I spend every minute with my head in a law book or hunched over my laptop. So the minute it's handed in I always either head into town to the shops or get online and order myself some 'rewards'. It's literally the only thing that gets me through it although my bank account hates me for it! So I thought I would share with you some of the bits and bobs I picked up.

 My first ever Make-Up Revolution palette, can you believe that I had never tried their products before?! I don't know what took me so long because they are amazing and I will definitely be doing a review on this and purchasing some more in the future. This palette is called Sugar and Spice and it's a blush and contour palette. It has some absolutely gorgeous shades that I can't wait to try.

 Another new brand to me is Too Faced and I've been wanting to try their palettes for the longest time but couldn't decide which one I wanted. In the end I decided the natural eyes palette was the best one for me because I wanted to get one that I would get a lot of use out of. The shades in this are stunning and a full review post with swatches will definitely be coming soon.

 Bit of a boring one but we ran out of cotton buds in our house and I can't live without these so I picked up some more, We usually use the Johnson's ones but Superdrug didn't have any so these will do! I think they were on offer for 2 for £2.00. These are an essential for wiping away any small mascara or eyeliner smudges and I also like them for going around a bold lip outline to tidy it up.

 Another Kate Moss lipstick was obviously an essential and this one is in the shade '30'. It's a gorgeous berry toned purple shade that is just perfect for Autumn/Winter. I've done a full review of this on my blog here.

 Can you tell I've really been getting into eye shadows at the minute? Here's my second Make-Up Revolution palette which is very daring for me. I was in two minds as to whether to purchase or not because I wasn't sure how much wear I would get out of it but I've been wanting more coloured eye shadows for a while now. I wanted good quality but didn't want to pay ridiculous amounts of money for them because I wasn't sure if I'd wear them much. So this was way too good an opportunity to pass up, 32 good quality eyeshadows for £8, you would be daft to say no. How pretty is it? It also does have some shadows that could be everyday colours in it too so I'm very pleased with this purchase and can't wait to play around with it. A full review with swatches will be up on my blog soon too.

 Another boring essential is just some hair grips because like socks these always seem to be a one hit wonder in my house. Once they're taken out my hair they disappear and that's them gone forever so I always need to pick up more of these. They're really handy for any hairstyle, I find that I can never get a perfect ponytail so more often than not have to stick a few pins in to fix it up.

I also bought some more Real Techniques brushes. I couldn't decide between Nic's picks and Sam's picks but Superdrug just had Nic's in so that made my decision for me. I needed new eyeshadow brushes because now I'm playing with more colours my brushes get dirty quicker and I'm too lazy to constantly clean them. So this one contains the base shadow brush which I already have and it's fab and an angled shadow brush. It also contains an exclusive eyeliner brush which I will use for my eyebrows whenever I lose my MAC brush (which is frequently). The other two are cheek and face brushes which will come in really handy for blending out blusher, bronzer and to apply a light dusting of powder. All these brushes are duo fibre too so I'm interested to try them out!

 Something I really have been wanting to try is Tanya's lashes. Not necessarily because they're Tanya's product but I love eyelashes and her range (mostly) looked really nice. I really wanted Girls Night Out and the individuals but my Superdrug was totally out of them so I picked up Date Night instead. I might do a review on them once I've tried them out if you're interested?

Summer Polish Picks

Hellooo lovelies,

 Nail polish is one of my guilty pleasures, I have waaaay too many polishes yet I can't stop buying them. Can you be a nail polish addict? cause if so I'm certainly guilty of that. I could paint my nails for the rest of my life without buying another polish and I'm pretty sure I still wouldn't run out so when it comes to picking polishes for different seasons I certainly have a good variety to choose from.

 My number one staple go to colour in Summer is white because it's classy, it goes with every outfit and it also is super flattering to a tan because it makes your skin look darker next to it. My go to white nail polish at the moment is Barry M's 'matt white' which is not the most imaginative of names but it does the job.

 When the sun comes out I like to brighten my style up too and that includes my polishes but I also really like tan enhancing colours which I find to be paler more pastel shades. Two of my old favourites are Barry M 'mint green' and 'peach melba', most of my favourite nail polishes do happen to be Barry M ones because they're cheap, have an amazing colour range, pretty bottles and are of a good quality.

 My most favourite Barry M polishes though are their Gelly hi-shine range ones because they look so much nicer on the nails, not quite as shiny as gel nails but the next best thing. I really love their new pastel shades that they brought out for Spring this year, 'Huckleberry', 'Sugar Apple' and 'Rosehip'. The brighter shades I love though are 'Dragon Fruit', 'Prickly Pear', 'Greenberry' and 'Blueberry'.

 Of course I love these colours by Tanya Burr's range too, 'Little Duck', 'Mini Marshmallows' and 'Bright and Early'. One thing I will say about these though is the quality is not amazing, the lids have a tendency to be stiff and the polishes are quite thin and chip easily bur they are very pretty shades.

My February Favourites

Hellooo my lovelies,

 February is now over, can you believe it?? It really doesn't feel that long ago since I was opening my presents on Christmas morning! However, with the end of Feb brings the promise of Spring and some long awaited sunshine that everyone in the UK (especially bloggers) are longing for...longer daylight means longer time for taking blog photos hurrah! So today I thought I would share with you the products I have been loving throughout February.

 No great surprise to anyone that my Naked 3 Palette is featuring...aaaagain! It really is that good guys! I've especially been loving Liar and Factory together on my lid this month! Another reoccurring favourite is Coralista and I'm pretty sure this is going to be my favourite blush for the Spring/Summer months! It's just the perfect coral shimmer and another thing I love about this is it seems pretty impossible to over apply this which I'm quite bad for doing with blushers. I have a review of my Naked 3 palette which you can read here.

 I've also been turning back to my old friend Nars Laguna bronzer which is just the perfect brown for bronzing up my face without making me look orange. I really love the look of Laguna with Coralista and I'll definitely be repurchasing this when it finally runs out.

 A huge favourite of mine this February has been Tanya Burr's lipglosses. I never used to be a massive lipgloss lover but with it being bang on trend right now, I seem to be favouring it more! My three favourite shades are Aurora, Exotic Island and Picnic in the Park and I always have at least two of them in my handbag at the moment. I have reviewed both Tanya's lipglosses and nail polishes both here and here.

 The nail polish shade I''ve been loving at the moment is from Tanya Burr's collection and it's a bright pink called Be Bright, Be Happy, Be You. This is super bright and it just makes me really excited for Spring and Summer. This shade is definitely my favourite of her polishes from the one's I've tried so far! Although the lids of quite a few of the polishes are really stiff which is annoying but it's a pretty colour and seems to last well on the nails!

 Of course, of course this little gem would find a way to sneak into my favourites once more. I love it pure and simple and I have done a review of it here if you would like to read more about why this is such a love of mine!

 A massive love of mine last month was fake tan! I don't really touch my tan asmuch in the Winter apart from special occasions just because I think it's a lot more fake looking then because obviously it's too cold to have a natural tan! Not to mention the fact that every shop near me seems to withdraw it from the shelves come October! However, from Valentines Day onwards I've felt it's been acceptable to crack out the tan again and give my skin a healthy glow. The tan I use is St Moriz mousse in dark , it's super cheap and you can get it from Tesco's and I think from a few places online! It gives a really nice colour, it does go on quite patchy which makes you panic but if you can avoid freaking out and washing it off right away (which I've done many a time) when you wash it off in the shower it leaves a nice colour. So I'll definitely be continuing to use this over the next few months!

 My favourite scent over the month of February has been another one of my Victoria's Secret body sprays. This time I've been loving Coconut Passion as it smells of sun cream and Malibu and it just makes me think of holidays which gets me excited for Summer!

 The hair product I've been loving in Feb has been my Mane n Tail shampoo and conditioner. A few weeks ago I finally bit the bullet and went to get my hair cut because it had gone all transparent and split at the ends and it was long overdue for a cut! As my hair hadn't been cut in nearly a year a good 4/5 inches needed to come off to make it look healthy again. I decided that I'd rather have shorter healthy hair than really long dead hair so I did it! By no means is my hair short and quite a few people have commented saying how long my hair looks recently...I think when it's healthier it must look longer! However, I still notice that it's shorter now so I instantly restocked up on humongous bottles of my favourite growth treatments. Now Amazon won't stop recommending me horse toys and other horsey related items but it's worth it! It cost me £20 for the two bottles and delivery from Amazon.  Lastly is a bit of a random one but if you've read my posts from the start then you'll know that I'm a big bath lover. I could happily spend hours in the tub with a good book and will happily reside there until my body is prune-like and the water is freezing. For Christmas, I got this bath pillow in my stocking and OH MY..if you like your baths then get yourself one of these. It has little suckers which attach to the side of the bath, it's waterproof aswell so it doesn't matter if it's half submerged in water but it is the comfiest thing and makes lying down in the bath so much more pleasant!

Tanya Burr Haul and Discount Code!

Hellooo my lovelies,

 As you may have seen from a post I did last week, I bought some of Tanya Burr's lip and nail products that she's just released (I'll link that post below). I actually liked the one's I bought so much that I thought I would get myself some more and Feel Unique had/have a 25% discount on Tanya Burr products using the code TANYA25. (Who can say no to 25%?!)  Anywaaay I got slightly carried away which is totally not like me at all *cough cough* and I ended up buying 4 new lipglosses and another two nail varnishes. So I now own half of the whole range with six of the twelve lipglosses and six of the twelve nail varnishes. The nail varnishes I chose this time are a gorgeous red shade called 'Mischief Managed' and a lovely purple shimmery one called 'Midnight Sparkles'. I obviously haven't tried either of these because I only got them today but I have tried my 'Little Duck' and my 'Be Bright, Be Happy, Be You' nail varnish from my last purchase. Those two are really gorgeous on the nails but they do look much nicer if you give them a good three coats so I'm assuming my two new one's will be the same!

Exotic Island

 The lipglosses I chose this time were 'Afternoon Tea', 'Just Peachy', 'Smile, Dream, Sparkle' and 'Exotic Island'. Exotic Island was the first shade which I was really keen to try and it's a gorgeous purpley/pink shade in the tube but it comes out a lot more sheer than it looks in the tube. Like all Tanya's lipglosses it has a gorgeous strawberry scent which I personally really like!

Smile, Dream , Sparkle

  The second shade I chose was 'Smile, Dream, Sparkle' which is similar to 'Aurora' but a darker shade of pink and more sheer. The pink doesn't show up as much on the lips, it just adds a very slight tinge of pink but allows you to see the shimmer. It almost gives the effect of a clear shimmer gloss but with that slight tinge of pink.

'Just Peachy'

 The last two shades I picked are very similar and I would definitely say that you don't need both of them as they are that similar (downsides of buying online!). I chose 'Afternoon Tea' and 'Just Peachy' and I have to say I'm not exactly thrilled with the shades of these ones. I thought it would be a lot more peachier and corally based than it is. When swatched it literally does look like I'm swatching glossy concealer. On my lips 'Just Peachy' really did make me look like I had concealer lips, I'm not sure if it would look better with darker skin tones but for me it's just not a great shade. However, I've had it on whilst writing this and if i rub my lips together a lot and once I've had it on a while it seems to look a lot more normal, more of a natural shade. However, it does remind me a lot of MAC's myth lipstick so if you like that then this would probably be a great one for popping over the top of that or on it's own. Afternoon tea is very similar but slightly darker. I will use them occasionally but I definitely wouldn't have bothered buying either of these two if I'd been buying them in a shop and had the chance to see them in person first.
