November Instagram || Blogmas Day 3

I love picking out my favourite pictures that I've posted to instagram this month so once again I've selected some of my instagram pictures from November to show you.

I absolutely love fireworks night, it's up there with Christmas and New Years Eve as my favourite days of the year. I just love getting all wrapped up in cosy clothes and going on a date night either with Gary or my friends to the fireworks to watch them. The town I live in actually has the main display for the whole region so I'm very lucky to live fifteen minutes walk away from a fantastic display. This year as always was phenomenal and I even have a little instagram video to show you this month!

Since we got Luca I practically live in Pets At Home and at the moment they have all these amazing Christmas toys and I had to stop myself from leaving with 5 snowman, 10 reindeers and 3 Santa's because they're all so cute. Gary drew the line at me buying him an advent calender so instead we bought a pup cake for both the dogs to share... how cute is it? We also have this obsession with buying Luca toys bigger than him because it's so funny watching him try and drag it around and he loves something big to snuggle with. As he's getting bigger he towers over all his old toys so we bought this giant reindeer, it did cost £30 which is quite ridiculous for a puppy toy but he absolutely loves it!

I had two very exciting deliveries early in November, my Duo boots and baby Oleg finally arrived.

Luca is definitely going through his terrible two's stage (in doggy years), he knows what he's meant to do but likes to do the complete opposite. My dad thought it was hilarious to give him an ASBO and when he further misbehaved gave him a prison sentence, hahaha dad jokes.

Passing my driving test was a massive achievement for me and was definitely my highlight of November, if not the entire year. I gladly gave Luca my L plates to chew on.

Ed's diner has opened five minutes up the road from me and I absolutely love their Oreo and chocolate milkshake. If you live near Ed's Diner and haven't tried this milkshake then you need to.

Beauty Event

I went to a 50th birthday party at Edinburgh castle this month and I have a full outfit post from the night on my blog and make up if you want to know more. How fantastic is this cake?!

I couldn't count down to Christmas without a Frozen advent calender! I've also ordered a picture advent calender too because I'm quite traditional in liking to open a little picture one.

Gary turned 21 this month so we had multiple celebrations for his birthday but I made him a love heart cake and on his actual birthday we went out for dinner at Tony Macaroni then off on a Winter Wonderland date!

I also rescued this little kitten Belle from the road and reunited her with her owner. Isn't she beautiful? She was determined to come in and get warm and when I couldn't let her in because of the dogs she came to all the windows to ask which was quite comical.

What have you got up to during November? If you want to follow me on instagram to keep updated with all my posts then you can follow me @whatabbyloves and I'll give you a follow back!

October || Instagram

October has been a hectic month for me once again with university work so I haven't got up to too many exciting things but I have been to a few blog events. I went to the Duo boots event where I was lucky enough to be able to choose a pair of boots to take away and I've also been to a Lush Christmas event where I got to see all the new Christmas releases. It's been a really cold, dull month here in the UK so I've also been making use of Lush bath products so overall it's been a very Lush month. We also started taking Luca to dog training in October and I don't think it gets much better than being a room surrounded by teeny tiny pups! Due to the amount of stress I've been under with coursework I have been treating myself.. lets just say quite a bit to try and get me through it so I've had quite a few exciting deliveries. I've also really enjoyed seeing Edinburgh get ready for Christmas especially the Dome, it always looks stunning at Christmas time and really gets me in the Christmas spirit!

Late night snuggs with my baby boy!

I hope you enjoyed getting a little insight into what I got up too last month, what did October hold for you?

Meet Luca

As a lot of you may know already if you saw my puppy haul post or you follow me on instagram or twitter (@whatabbyloves). We recently got a Springer Spaniel puppy called Luca, he was my boyfriends 21st birthday present but he's a joint pup realllyyy... hehe. He's 9 weeks old on Monday and we will have had him for two weeks.

He's very cheeky and very playful. He loves to climb on absolutely everything... he's even worked out how to jump on numerous items to make it onto a double bed. He also can climb up and down the stairs all by himself! One step at a time but he still does it.

He also loves chewing on everything..including fingers. His teeth are already super sharp and we're having a bit of a hard time training him not to chew people and clothing. If anyone has any good tips for teaching pups not to bite then please let me know!

"Enough pictures now mum"

He does currently sleep in his crate which is like a house to him because he's so small at the moment but occasionally during the day we let him sleep in his fluffy big boy bed for a nap.

Eric is currently a really jealous big brother. When we first brought him home he wouldn't even be in the same room as the pup! Now they're much better together, he'll tolerate him but he still doesn't really want to play with Luca but that doesn't stop him trying 40 times a day! I think eventually he'll accept the puppy properly and want to play with him.

When we first got him he used to have a bottle of puppy goats milk at night. We occasionally do still give him this but not always out of a bottle because he can drink himself out of a bowl. He loves the bottle teats for teething on though!

His litter, Luca is bottom left with all the markings!
I hope you enjoyed seeing pictures of little Luca. If you want to see more of him then make sure you're following me on my instagram @whatabbyloves.
