How Much Does My Face Cost? || Tag

This is a tag I've considered doing for a while but I'm not sure I actually want to know the final price tag because I know it will be a heck of a lot. However I'm currently trying to save money so what better way to stop my makeup splurges by physically seeing how much it costs me?!

I've based this on make-up I would wear on a night out or for a date night because for every day I don't always wear make-up and if I do then not always as much as this. Obviously I know this is completely excessive but each to their own and all that!

I've also decided to add in the skin care that I use on my face every single day because I think this is a vital step if not the most important one.

For my base I use foundation, usually two concealers if I'm going out or going somewhere fancy and a powder to keep it all in place.

For eyes I always use my Urban Decay primer potion, I've picked my most favourite eyeshadow palette, liquid eyeliner, mascara, eyeliner and of course eyelashes which I do not wear on an everyday basis.

For my cheeks I usually just go for my contour kit for everyday use but for a night out I like to bronze up my face all over too. I then usually use my favourite blusher and my favourite highlight.

For my eyebrows, all I use is an eyeshadow from mac (which has lost it's plastic) and depending on lipstick I use I may use a lipliner and/or a gloss but with my favourite lipstick (this one) I just use it alone.

And the grand total is....... £274.89. I knew it would be a lot of money but did not expect it to be this sickening an amount!! However I'm just going to remind myself that the amount of uses I get out of the products reduces the cost massively... right?? Definitely think this has given me the kick up the bum I needed to save money and stop buying extra make-up!

Pretty Little Liars || Tag

I'm currently having Pretty Little Liars withdrawal symptoms, seriously I think I'm going to have to re-watch all the seasons very soon. Since I'm missing it so much I thought I would do the Pretty Little Liars tag today so...

Let's get into the questions!

1. Alison made her return to Rosewood in her statement red coat. What is your wardrobe statement piece?

I'd say my statement piece is a good pair of jeans because you can dress them up and down. I don't believe in just one statement piece though, I think there are quite a few 'statement' pieces that every girl needs in her wardrobe.

2. If you could raid anyone's wardrobe, whose would it be?

This is a difficult one because none of their style jumps out at me as amazing, they've all worn an outfit that I've loved and they've also all worn outfits that I've hated but I'd probably say Emily because I love that 'country girl' style. Plus when Emily dresses up she always wears the most stunning ball gowns.

3. Which cast member would you go to if you had a problem?

Definitely Emily, she seems loyal, kind and caring and I'd know that she'd not just be pretending to care for the gossip.

4. Which character's personality do you think you most relate to?

I think my personality is a mix of all the girls to be honest. However, I would say I'm most like Aria because I'm quiet, I like books and a few of my friends have said that I remind them of Aria and that my parents are similar to Aria's parents (minus the divorce). Gary also says Aria or maybe Spencer because you're clever and bossy... so we'll go with Aria hahaha. 

5. Which character's makeup would you most like to wear?

Definitely Aria, Emily and Spencer don't tend to wear much make-up and I definitely think Aria's more out there with her make-up which I like to do. Bold lipsticks and different eyeshadow colours.

6. Which of the cast would you feel safest with when stuck in an 'A' situation?

Spencer! She always seems to have a plan with how to deal with everything, she remains level headed and she's pretty intelligent so definitely Spencer!

7. What has been the biggest shocking moment?

There have been so many different shocking moments! I think when Ian's body was moved and when Aria shot Shona. Actually when Alison was alive too! We totally were not expecting that!

8.  Who is your favourite character?

Hmm this is difficult, I love Hannah because she's so funny and sarcastic, I love how endearing Emily is and she's definitely the one I would want to be best friends with and I love Aria too. I think it's a toss up between Aria and Emily!

9. Sum up in 5 or less words, your thoughts on:

Jenna - bitter

Paige - annoying

Toby - sweet

Cece - suspicious

Melissa - sneaky

Lucas - irritating

10. Who do you think is A?

I still have a few theorys. I think it could be Charles (Alisons brother/Jasons twin) but I also think that's too simple. I think Charles could be Bethany and he wanted to be a girl hence the two dresses, the pink laces and that he was sent away because Mr D (thinking he was his child) sent him away to Radley. However Bethany's bodies been found so it leaves grey areas so I think it could also be CC, CC could be short for Charles, she's often been mistaken for Alison and she's disappeared into the background. However, I also feel it could be Hermes (Lucas) because of his nickname...hermaphrodite which could be why Alison called him that. Then there's also Wren who has suspiciously disappeared so altogether I'm still not sure!

The Spring Tag

Helloo my lovelies,

 Since we'll soon be going into Summer I thought it was about time that I did the Spring tag!

1.  What's your favourite nail colours for Spring?

I love pastel shades but I also like brighter shades as I get really over excited when the sun comes out! My favourites are 'Essie- Fiji', 'Barry M- Mint Green' and 'Tanya Burr- Be Bright, Be Happy, Be You'.

2.  Best drink for Spring?

I looove fruit juice- apple. mango or tropical. My favourite alcoholic drink in Spring is cocktails.

3.  What goes on your lips in Spring?

I turn to more peach, coral and pink shades in Spring! I also prefer more of a glossy lip so often opt for a lipgloss! My favourites so far have been 'YSL rouge volupte- Peach Passion', 'Tanya Burr- Picnic in the Park' and 'MAC- pink pearl pop'. I've also been loving a bit of a nude lip this Spring and for that I've been loving 'MAC- Pure Zen' and 'Tanya Burr- Afternoon Tea'. Obviously with the Orange lip trend I've been loving a bit of MAC's 'Morange' too!

4.  What's your favourite thing about Spring?

My favourite thing about Spring is that the days get longer so it's still light in the evenings and it starts to get warmer and sunnier so everyone's more happy. I really like all the baby animals being born too though!

5.  Best perfume for Spring?

My ultimate favourite perfume for Spring is 'Marc Jacobs-Lola' it's the perfect fresh floral scent without being too 'florally'.

6.  What TV series are you watching the most at the moment?

The tv series I'm currently watching is Coronation Street, Ex on the Beach and Happy Valley.

7.  Do you wear a different colour eye shadow in Spring?

Not especially, I have noticed that I'm reaching for more goldy/brown shades than my beloved Naked 3 though!

8.  Do you change your hair for the changing season?

I have never dyed my hair before but I'm really tempted to dye it blonde - more for Summer than Spring though!

9.  What kind of music do you listen do in Spring?

I have a really varied music taste and I don't really change the type of music I listen to from season to season.

10.  What kind of fashion items/accessories do you opt for in Spring?

I usually wear a lot more denim for instance I've switched my big fluffy Winter jacket for my lighter denim one and my pink wool look one. I also ditch the Uggs for Converse, Vans and Blazers. I usually inject more colour into my wardrobe during Spring/Summer and I opt for more crop tops, shorts, skirts and dresses.

Lipstick Tag

1. How many lipsticks do you own?
Not including lipbalms, lip glosses (and glossy inks) I own 30 lipsticks. Is that bad? I don't know hahaha!

2. What was the 1st lipstick you owned? 
I owned little crappy one's that came in the sets that mumma's always buy their make up obsessed 8 year old to stop them stealing their own make up of course! However, my first proper lipstick when I got into makeup was a Rimmel one in Rose Sorbet which is a lovely corally colour!

3. What is your favourite lipstick brand?
Either MAC or YSL. I love MAC for the variety of colours and finishes and they are a lot cheaper than YSL. However I love the feel of YSL one's and the packaging!

4. What is your most worn lipstick?
Probably my YSL peach passion! It's just such a gorgeous peachy shade that goes with so many makeup looks and outfits.

5. What is your favourite finish?
Cremesheen by MAC or a more glossy finish from other brands. I'm not really into matte lipsticks to be honest! I don't even suffer from dry lips but I feel matte lipsticks make me feel/look like I do (just me??)

6. What was the last lipstick you bought?

Girl About Town and Pure Zen by MAC.

7. How many lip products do you have in your bag?

Let's count shall we...8! That's when you know you carry far too much unnecessary stuff around with you! I actually only cleared my bag out last week aswell..oopsy! I always toss a new one in as I'm running out the door and forget to take my old one's out..no wonder my bags so heavy!

8. What is your favourite red lip colour? 
I loooove the Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss in the colour 107, it's a really dark, deep red which I love! My favourite bright red though is Brave Red by MAC.

9. How do you store your lipsticks? 
I have two acrylic lipstick organisers which I keep them in, a jar in my chest of drawers and apparently I keep a lot in my bag too....

10. What lipsticks are you currently lusting over?

I'm really naughty when it comes to lipstick, the majority of my friends have the lipstick emoji beside my name on their phone which says it all really!! I really like the coral shade from YSL's Spring/Summer collection! I also really want MAC's Chatterbox, Honey Love and SpeedDial. Then I'm lusting after quite a few Topshop one's aswell such as Macaroon, Pillow talk and Whimsical!

Hellooo my lovelies,

 I thought it was a good idea since I'm quite new to the blogging community that I should do this tag to let you guys know a little more about me. I haven't actually been tagged in this but I seen it on quite a few people's blogs so I thought I should give it a whirl!

Me and Gary on NYE

1. My middle name is Katherine but I never ever actually use it and not even my school knew I had one..oops hehe!

2. I was born on the 17th September 1994.

3. I have blue eyes.

4. I have a boyfriend called Gary who I love very much.

5. I have a spaniel cross called Eric!

6. I study law at University in Edinburgh.

7. I'm actually a midget at only 5ft 2!

8. My all time favourite colour (you already know the answer to this one right?...) is pink.

9. I have a phobia of sick.

10. I suffer from anxiety and I have minor panic attacks every so often.

11. I have only ever had one proper boyfriend (my current one)

12. I'm not scared of the dark but often my mind will trick me into seeing things that aren't really there and that scares me!

13. I love all things Disney. Movies, songs, performances..I'm all over it!

14. I have way way way too many clothes, I have more clothes than space for them.

15. I used to do ballet and wanted to be a ballerina.

16. I'm really affectionate.

17. I am the worlds fussiest eater, there's only about ten foods I'll actually eat.

20. I was once a bridesmaid at my granny's wedding whilst having a sickness bug and had to run out the church to be sick (that was not a good day, talk about bad luck!) 

21.That was actually the first time I was sick in years and the last time I've actually had a sickness bug (I was 12 at the time.. I'm now 19!)

22. I don't like tea or coffee. The only hot beverage I enjoy is hot chocolate! (I'm a baby at heart)

23. I have my belly button pierced and my ears (I actually stopped breathing when I got my ears pierced haha!)

25. I always have to have my nails painted at all times or I feel naked.

26. I'm a very sensitive person and get hurt easily even if I don't show it.

27. I'm a really really light sleeper and I often struggle to get to sleep and have vivid dreams/nightmares when I do.

28. I have a fear of flying although this year I recently overcame this but I don't think I'll ever enjoy it.

29. I once stole a book from the library when I was four because I loved reading so much! (it was returned, don't worry)

30. I love being tanned/fake tanning and I feel horrible if I'm pale.

31. I love taking pictures and creating memories as I think it's important to have things to look back on.

34. I find it impossible to travel light.

35. I always have to carry a water bottle with me or I feel anxious (I think it's incase I feel sick) weird I know.

36. I once wrote a whole novel for my little sister whilst she was growing up and she would read it whilst I wrote the next installment..I actually found it in the attic the other day!

37. I haven't ate meat since my dad told me my Shepard's pie was made of the cow I seen in the field earlier that day! That very much upset a five year old me!

38. I live next to a beach and I really love walking down there on a starry night and listening to the waves roll in, super relaxing!

39. I am really maternal and want children when I'm older.

40. I'm addicted to Hayday and Sims 3!

41. I once broke my fifth metatarsal and my mum didn't believe me that it was broken and when I went to school the next day, I got sent home and told to go to A & E straight away (naughty mummy!!)

42. My favourite flowers are roses.

43. I love having really long baths, I can spend hours in there!

44. I am really friendly and love making new friends.

45. People who moan about things they don't have/can't afford annoy me a lot. Don't be a hypocrite and hate things you'd like but can't have, just be happy for other people or make it happen!

46. I can't not wear make-up, the only people who have ever seen me have no makeup on is my parents, sister and boyfriend!

47. I'm super gullible and I once believed (shamefully not that long ago) that there was different kinds of sand because there was a world sand sale where all the countries swapped sand and poured it onto the beach which is why some beaches in the UK have nice sand and some don't :-( haha silly me!

48. I love Terry's Chocolate Orange's and Terry's chocolate orange hot chocolate!

49. I have super low self-esteem and I'm trying very hard to work on that!

50. Finally my dream is to do a make-up course when I've finished uni and possibly do some work as a make-up artist on the side.

 Eventually finished! I hope I didn't bore you too much, that was actually a lot harder than it looks! I managed to do about 40 then struggled to think of anymore. I hope you've maybe learned a little more about me and enjoyed reading this!

Would You Rather Tag:- Makeup Edition!

Hey my lovelies,

I've seen this tag floating around the beauty blogging world for ages and I thought it would be fun to do so I'm going to do it! I'm pretty sure some of these questions will take me a looong time to answer!

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?

This is a tough one because I think I'd cry and probably kill any person who tried to take my three Naked Palettes away from me and I also wouldn't be able to fill in my eyebrows which fills me with horror! However, eyeshadows and eyebrows being done would look ridiculous if I didn't have any mascara or eyeliner on but you can wear mascara and eyeliner without eyeshadow so I'd have to say lose my palettes and hope the situation never occurs! Plus I'm not sure I could live without my beloved lipsticks!

2. Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

This one is an easy one for me! I'd definitely never be able to cut it again. I have hair just past the small of my back and I always have had really long hair so I'd not be able to cope with cutting it all off! Plus if it got really dry and split ends there's lots of products that can be used to disguise this and you can always chuck it up in a bun/ponytail and it'll still look good!

3. Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

Ooooh I really love both but given Coralista by Benefit is my all-time fave blusher, I think I'd go with coral! (Possibly the first time I've not chosen pink for something????)

4. If you had £1,000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

Hmmm this is a hard one! But probably clothes because I reckon you'd get some pretty amazing clothes for £1000 and I could just go mad in Topshop without feeling guilty.(imagine how many pairs of frilly socks I could buy!) Although I could easily spend £1000 on both as I have a proper obsession with makeup.

5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?

Preferably neither hahaha. Both options sound equally horrendous but I reckon I'd use lipstick as eyeliner because I only have black/brown/grey eyeliners, none of which would look very attractive on my lips I'm sure! Buuuut you can buy black gothic lipsticks for halloween etc so I's probably use that with a fine liner brush and pray it didn't feel too gross (yuck).

6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

I'd definitely chose MAC because I love a wide range of products from there. We don't have Sephora in the UK which is pretty rubbish but I have got a few Sephora products from when I've been on holiday in Italy and France and they are really good. So it's still a toughie but I'd probably go MAC!

7. Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?

One eyeshadow colour because I feel lipstick really changes a look more so than an eyeshadow shade would and I'd get really bored if I had the same lip colour all the time! I wouldn't even be able to chose which lip colour to have either! So one eyeshadow shade it is for me.

8. Would you rather wear winter clothes in the summer or summer clothes in the winter?

I'd probably say wear Summer clothes during Winter because I love summery skirts and dresses, plus you could wear tights to add a little warmth during the Winter (is that cheating???) Plus I hate being too hot, there's nothing worse so I'd rather be too cold!

9. Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?

This is quite an easy one for me, bright nails! I'm not the biggest fan of dark nails on my skin because I think they make me look paler!

10. Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?

I would rather get rid of my favourite eye product because I currently have a back up of both my favourite mascara's muahaha. My favourite lisptick however, YSL Peach Passion is both pricy and means a lot because my lovely boyf bought it for me so definitely rather lose the eye product.

11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?

I really like both when I'm at home relaxing or when I'm going somewhere casual and just want my hair off my face. I'd probably chose ponytail though because you could make it look more fancy by using straightners and curlers, if you were going out clubbing or to a big event, always having a bun would be grim!

12. Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?

I'd not use lip gloss ever again because I don't really use it anyway, I usually use lip balms, lipsticks and lip stains so I could easily live without lip gloss if that's all that was going amiss! I defo wouldn't miss my hair being stuck to my lips... Could never not have nail polish on because I feel my nails just look naked and ugly without it. Honestly don't think I've had more than fifteen minutes without nail polish on my nails since I was about 15 hahaha.

13. Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or Sharpie them in everyday?
This is a horrendous question hahaha. Both would look awful. I think I'd have none and draw them on or get one's tattoed on if that was available. I definitely would never Sharpie my eyebrows in though!

14. Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

Nooooo, this is a toughie. I'd have to say live without nail polish though, as much as I love my nail polish I'd feel really self-conscious all the time and I'd actually really miss applying it every morning if I didn't have any make-up. Plus the first thing people notice when they meet you is your face, not your nails.
