Topshop, Asos, Office, Nike, New Look & More || Haul

It's been a long time since I've done a fashion haul on my blog and it's mainly down to the fact that I've not really bought loads of clothes at once for ages. Then when I do, I have all the good intention of keeping them to photograph before I wear them but realistically that never actually happens. However this time I have managed it (mostly) so thought I would share them with you!

The first thing that I bought was a new pair of Converse and this time I went for the leather version, my reasoning being that I wanted to be able to keep them clean, easier! I already have two pairs of white converse but both are manky and I only ever get down to washing them when I want to wear them. I bought these ones from Office and they were around £60 which I don't think is too bad. I do like them but I feel like they make my feet look and feel massive and I'm only a size 5! The leather style has definitely been much easier (and quicker) to clean so I would recommend them for that.

I desperately needed new bikini's for Summer especially because I live at my gyms swimming pool. I really wanted ones with cup sizes because they fit so much nicer on and I found that Asos was the best place to shop for cup sized bikini's. The first one I bought was this gorgeous floral print one which I desperately wanted the matching high waisted bottoms for but couldn't get hold of.

The second bikini I bought was this Triangl look alikey which is an amazing dupe. The white colour makes your tan look fantastic and the bra fits perfectly. Something to bare in mind about the bottoms are they're ever so slightly more revealing than your average bikini bottom but I kept them anyway because I like the look of the matching set!

I fell in love with this navy/grey and white striped top from Topshop. It's not a crop top but it's a really short t-shirt. It looks amazing with high waisted jeans or under dungarees.

From Nike I picked up this mesh crop top for the gym, again this one is slightly longer than a crop top but you would definitely have to wear this with high waisted bottoms if you didn't want to show any skin. This is amazing for the gym, it's dry fit so it absorbs sweat and because of it's loose, mesh material it really helps to keep you cool. I don't feel very comfortable just going to the gym in a sports bra so this is the perfect way to show off your coloured sports bra, stay cool and not be revealing. It was around £30 which is quite expensive for a gym top but that's because it's Nike and has the dri-fit technology.

I also picked up a neon yellow sports bra from H&M because it looks amazing under all gym tops. This one especially looks great under the Nike mesh top. It isn't the most supportive sports bra ever but it does the job for me and it was under £10 too.

My gym is absolutely roasting especially when it's hot outside so I bought some new shorts to switch my yoga pants for. I apologise for the creases but I pulled these straight out the ironing basket. I chose a plain white pair and a plain black pair because they'll go with everything and both are from New Look.

Another fitness themed item of clothing I bought was this swim suit from Tesco. I really wanted a swimsuit for doing swimming at the gym because it just seems a lot more practical than a bikini and I wanted to look like I was 'serious' about swimming hahaha. At the same time I didn't want to look like a frump and this was the best one I found on the market and believe it or not it's actually from Tesco!! It gives you an amazing bust because it's quite low cut and because of the ruching on the front and the side panels it is quite slimming. I wear this to death because it is stylish but at the same time very, very practical so ideal for anyone who does swimming for exercise purposes!

Last gym related purchase... I promise! I bought two t-shirts from New Look, just a plain black one and a plain grey one. They do fit a little on the small side so I'd recommend going up a size if you're inbetween sizes.

I never, ever thought that I would buy into the dungaree hype. They just remind me way too much of growing up so they still feel a little uncool to me however lately I've seen people looking amazing in them. I'm definitely not into the long ones because I'm so small they would just look ridiculous on me but I do love the short ones. These look amazing paired with the Topshop stripey t-shirt that I showed above and are also from Topshop.

My last purchase and probably my most favourite purchase that I've bought in a long time is this yellow rain coat from Topshop. I wanted it for a while but wasn't sure because it might not go with much being yellow but when I went into Topshop and it was the last one in stock I just had to get it. It is out of stock online so if you want this, I'd hurry to your local Topshop to see if they have any left. It's so cute and makes me feel like Paddington bear. I think the little checked sleeves and hood are a really cute touch however if you don't like the sleeves you can roll them down. Although it is expensive for a rain coat at £55, I've already had my moneys worth out of it and will continue to do so therefore I think it's worth the money! Especially because in Britain you are always, always going to need a rain jacket.

I hope you liked seeing the fashion bits that I've picked up recently. Let me know if you like them and   how you would style them up.

December Favourites || Blogmas Day 24

Can you believe that blogmas is nearly over?? Its going to be so strange not sitting down and writing a post every single day! At the end of the year/start of the new year I'm going to be doing a 2014 favourites (best products of 2014) so to seperate that from my December favourites I'm doing this a little earlier than usual so I hope you don't mind.

My favourite eyeshadows this month have been from my Make-Up Revolution Flawless palette which has gorgeous rich earthy tones in it. I've been loving the burgandy shades and the gold shades because they just look really beautiful at this time of year or with a red lip.

I've also been loving my Make-Up Revolution concealer palette because it is so handy having a range of concealer shades in one palette. My favourite one is the bottom far left because it's really yellow toned so works well to counteract any under eye bags.

Christmas jumpers seem to have come out of nowhere and have taken over fashion when it comes to December. I have been loving being able to wear my cute Topshop gingerbread man jumper again. We've had the 12 days of Christmas jumpers at my work and I always get lots of compliments on it from customers and friends. Sadly Topshop aren't selling it again this year so I don't think you'll be able to get your hands on it, sorry!

Obviously with it being Christmas jumper season I just had to get Luca one. The only reason I was allowed to get him one was for his puppy Christmas party which was adorable by the way. I've had it on him way more than just that though, he's had it on almost everyday and he actually really likes it. When I put his harness on he wriggles around but with his jumper he happily lets me put it on him and it seems to have some sort of calming effect. I think it has a snuggling effect like the Thundershirt does for nervous dogs. It has a little Christmas hood which is a tiny bit snug for his massive quiff but still cute.

It will be no surprise to anyone that dark lips are in my favourites. This month it's been Make-Up Revolution shades in 100% vamp and Blackheart. I promise I am not at all sponsored by Make-Up Revolution or sent their products I just genuinely love this brand. They are slightly messy to apply but if you take the time and effort applying boy do they look good!!! I am still slightly nervous when wearing these out but I've been much more confident with it throughout December and gone with it. The other lipstick that I've had on this month is Russian Red by Mac because it's so perfect and Christmassy.

My shower time favourites in December are Bob the Polar Bear from The Body Shop which has been renamed as Bear for the foreseeable until I think of a better name because Bob is not a name for a polar bear right?! I love this so much, not only is it super cute but it lathers up shower gel nicely and it also gently exfoliates your skin at the same time. I even like using this on my face because it's such a gentle exfoliant. I pair this with Lush So White shower gel which smells like freshly squeezed apples to get lovely soft skin. As I'm sure you all know by now So White is one of if not my most favourite Lush product so I really want them to make both the ballistic and the shower gel permanent instead of just at Christmas time.

My favourite Winter perfume this month has been Lady Gaga's Fame. I am not a Lady Gaga fan but I do love the smell of her perfume. The bottle isn't the most travel friendly and looks more like some kind of weapon but the scent and overall look of the actual fragrance itself is pretty special.

I had never tried Urban Decay eyeliners before this month even though I had heard they were incredible so I'm not sure why. This one is one of the double ended Naked 3 ones, one side is 'Darkside' and the other side is 'Blackheart'. If you own the Naked 3 palette then these eyeliners match the eyeshadows they share their name with perfectly, Blackheart is a black with red flecks through it which looks super pretty under your eyes and Darkside is a browny taupe shade which is perfect as an everyday eyeliner. When you wear these eyeliners with their matching shadows they look even more impressive but they're really versatile.

My Christmas time nail polish favourite is OPI's Which is Witch shade, it's such a pretty silver glitter and the glitter is quite chunky so you don't need loads of coats to build it up. I really like that the glitter chunks and strands are all different shapes and sizes so it gives a very nice finish. I've had this on this month as a top coat, an accent nail and on all nails too. It also looks really pretty when worn just on the tips of nails.

What have been your favourite products this month?

American Apparel, Topshop, New Look, Asos & More || Haul

I love a good shopping spree and that is what I have done, quelle surprise! These things I've collected over the past few weeks so I thought I would give you an insight into some of my latest wardrobe additions.

The first being three more pairs of frilly socks from Topshop because as you all know I am obsessed with these. I just think they look amazing with boots, trainers, converse or even for just going about the house in. My house is like the house where socks come to die because I swear my washing machine swallows socks, they just vanish into thin air and despite the fact that I constantly buy socks I still seem to have a shortage of them. I went for a pretty peach, sunny yellow and yet another white pair because they go with everything.

I then had a little splurge on New Look just to get some basic things that I needed including three new cami tops because they always come in so handy. I love Topshop ones but New Look ones are half the price and just as good so a little heads up to all those who love Topshop cami's. I picked up a mustard yellow shade which at first I wasn't sure about but I'm growing to love it, a white one and a black one.

I also got a collared shirt because as I said in my September favourites I've been loving wearing collared shirts under jumpers because I love layering and keeping warm now it's getting colder so why not buy some new ones. This one has pretty floral cut out prints on it on both the top and back which is a really nice detail to a plain shirt. I personally prefer having prettier shirts underneath my jumpers anyway because then if I get too hot I can take my jumper off and still look nice and complete.

Another collared shirt that I have bought recently is this gorgeous one from Asos that has lace panelling around the top. This has been my favourite thing ever since I got it, I think it's so delicate and cute and again looks amazing underneath cosy jumpers.. bonus!

I then had a little online shop on H&M which I really hate doing because if you've ordered from them online before you'll know they charge £4 for delivery and always take about 10 days. I personally think that's really bad and it is one of the shops that are worst for deliveries (I find) so I personally prefer to buy things in store. However, there was something I really wanted and it wasn't in store so it was unavoidable to make an online order and of course I couldn't not add a little extra pair of socks to my basket because as previously mentioned my socks seem to grow legs and walk out my house. Also pretty much all my socks are frilly I wanted some trainer socks I could wear when I wanted to look like I wasn't wearing any socks. So I got this cute little 3 set which I think was only £4.99, it has a cute white and grey spotty pair, a pretty floral pair and a plain grey pair.

Now the main reason I was ordering from H&M was because I'd seen these gorgeous floral trousers online and really wanted them. They're a loose cotton material and they feel so amazing on, almost like pjama's and I'm a major comfort girl so anything that I can wear that's comfy is right up my street. I wore these to uni the other day and it felt so amazing and comfy, I recommend them to anyone for work, uni or for everyday. The best part of these is that they were only £7.99!! I actually ordered a second pair for two reasons mainly because they're so amazing, comfy and cheap that why not and secondly I got a small the first time and they're really big. So I've got an extra small on the way but after waiting two weeks for the first ones I wasn't sending them back!! Love, Love, Love them.

They also have pockets which is a massive plus because I hate not having somewhere to put my phone if I have to nip somewhere quickly without my bag.

I then had another look on the Topshop website... bad idea because obviously that meant I saw things I wanted and well payday had just been so I could not stop myself. More frilly socks, did I mention I was obsessed with these?! I'm determined to beat the sock thief so hopefully I will not be short of socks for a very, very long time. I got a lilac pair and two cornflower blue pairs, one of which I had worn so didn't bother to pop in the picture.

I also bought two new pairs of jeans, both are Joni's. I really wanted some new Leigh jeans but none of the ones in stock were ones I liked so I went for my second favourite style instead. I got two 'Winter' themed ones, not sure why but they both have Winter in their name on the website. The first pair I actually already have a pair like and it's a vintage, faded denim look, probably my most favourite look on jeans. The second pair is a really pale light blue shade which more than likely has winter in it's name because of its icy blue colour. I really like them and they look pretty with most outfits. Both of these cost £36.

The last thing I bought is another pair of disco pants. When it comes to disco pants, I am a firm believer that it's American Apparel or they're not disco pants, they're a copy cat version that usually aren't half as good, sorry not sorry. They are however horrendously overpriced and I really do grudge spending that much money on a pair of trousers, £74 to be precise. I actually already have two pairs of disco pants, a black pair and a navy pair which I wear to death. I've had them for over two years now and I just think they're the perfect thing for dressy but not to dressy or can be made completely dressy or completely casual. They're such a versatile piece that I would advise every single girl to own a pair, not to mention how flattering they are. The one negative thing about these (bar the price) is that you have to handwash them and I am really lazy and put mine through the washing machine and they've never been the same since. Warning ladies do noooot do it, it is not worth it. They still look nice but the elastics showing through them and they are just past their best. So when I got an email saying that American Apparel had 30% discount it was just too good to resist. I wasn't planning to purchase a new pair quite so soon but when the offer was there it made sense. I paid £51.80 for mine which don't get me wrong is still ridiculous but much better than the £74.

Even though they look sort of grey toned in the photo's I assure you they are jet black.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my little or rather big shopping haul. What things have you been buying this season?

Lots of Love,
